UPDATED FINANCIAL POLICY

Starting January 1, 2023, all dental services must be paid in full at the time services are performed unless other arrangements are made in advance. The estimated cost of treatment will be shared with patients, or those responsible for the account, prior to the appointment. Please keep in mind this amount is subject to change due to potential variations in clinical scenarios.

Please understand that our dental office cannot render services on the assumption that the charges will be paid by an insurance company. Cranberry Dental Studio will continue to submit insurance claims for eligible treatment as a courtesy to our patients. All payments from insurance companies will be sent directly to the insurance subscriber.

Cranberry Dental Studio reserves the right to refuse scheduling treatment until all outstanding balances are paid in full.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I find out ahead of time what my insurance will reimburse on treatment?2022-11-17T13:31:02-05:00

By reaching out to your insurance carrier and asking 1.) what their maximum allowable charge is for the service and 2.) what percentage they’ll cover of that maximum allowable charge for out-of-network providers, you can get an estimate of your dental reimbursement. Please note that this is not a guarantee of coverage.

What do I do if I have not received payment from my insurance company?2022-11-17T13:22:56-05:00

Please contact your insurance provider for any updates on your insurance claim and insurance payment. If any further documentation is needed from our office in order to process the claim we will be happy to forward it to your insurance.

How long will it take for me to receive reimbursement from my insurance?2022-11-17T13:20:39-05:00

Depending on your insurance it can take 2-3 weeks for claims for preventative treatment to be processed and 4-6 weeks for claims for restorative treatment to be processed.

I was already paying in full on the date of service. How does this new financial policy affect me?2022-11-17T13:19:40-05:00

Patients without insurance, or whose insurance companies were already sending the reimbursement check to the patient, will not notice a difference in our new financial policy.

Do you offer payment plans?2022-11-17T13:13:26-05:00

Our office does not offer payment plans, however, we do offer financing options through Care Credit. Our office opts into Care Credit’s 6 month, 0% interest option. For more information, or to apply, visit www.carecredit.com/

Will you still submit to my insurance?2022-11-17T13:12:07-05:00

Yes, we will still submit insurance claims on behalf of our patients.

Can I use my HSA/FSA to pay for treatment?2022-11-17T13:25:41-05:00

Yes, you can use your HSA/FSA card to pay for all dental treatment within your health plan’s limitations. If any documentation is required for reimbursement to the patient Cranberry Dental Studio is happy to provide that.
